Box Score The McMurry War Hawks made the travel to Sherman, TX to take on the Austin College Kangaroos. In, which they left victorious with a 90—77 win.


The War Hawks battled back and forth with the Kangaroos on the second game of the season. Where they also emerged victorious 88-87.

The War Hawks Were led by senior CJ LeBlanc who was able to tally up 24 points, 7 Steals, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. This was followed by Junior TJ Hilliard who also put up 18 points, 3 steals, 8 rebounds and 1 assist.

Other notable performances, Senior Elias Garcia was able to put up a double-double as he dropped 12 points, 2 steals, 14 rebounds and 3 assists.


The War Hawks were able to go into halftime with a 16-point lead. Where they were able to eventually open that gap up with their biggest lead of the night of 24 points. McMurry led Austin College in rebounds, 3- point percentage and the turnover battle.
 
The War Hawks move to 7-6 and  return back to action January 11^th  against Concordia University back home in Kimbrell Arena.
