Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ABILENE, TEXAS – A pair of dual wins over American Southwest Conference nearby rival Howard Payne University spotlighted Senior Day 2023 festivities for McMurry University Saturday, April 15.
 
Straight-set singles triumphs proved to be the key toward 9-0 women's and 8-1 men's victories. Head coach Chris Breaux's War Hawks recorded those finishes in five men's and three women's matches.
 
Senior Dylan Bryant (Ovalo, Texas) captured one of two thrillers for the men as he held off HPU's Hunter Green with a 10-7 tiebreaker victory at number five singles. The second nail-biter occurred at number one doubles, with Bryant joining fellow Class of 2023 member Reid Smith (Pampa. Texas) to battle to an 8-7 win.
 
Junior Bridgette Fly (Watauga, Texas) kept the home crowd on the edge of their seats, too, at number two singles in the women's clash. She held on with a tiebreaker scenarios,
 
McMurry's men close out the year at 6-12 overall and 2-3 in the ASC. The War Hawks women's team finish the season at 6-11 and 2-3.
