Box Score McMurry University put on a clinic in beating Southwestern University 76-44 Saturday, Nov. 18 in Kimbrell Arena.
Needing to hit the reset button after their first loss of the season, the Lady War Hawks did so in a big way. The University of Dallas defeated McMurry 80-64 last Wednesday.

Thirteen players got their name in the scorer's book. McMurry led 40-14 at halftime and its largest lead was 38 points about halfway in the fourth quarter.
Cleveland was the top rebounder with 10 as she had five on offense and five on defense. Sophomore guard
Kylie Flippin (Wichita Falls, Texas) was a perfect 4 of 4 at the free-throw line. Senior guard/forward
Jada Morris (Forney, Texas) led the team with three of the total 11 steals. Flippin and Morris each blocked a shot.
The win came at a crucial time in the young season as the American Southwest Conference games start right after Thanksgiving.
McMurry, 3-1, plays on the road Nov. 30 at 5:30 p.m. at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall and Dec. 2 at 1 p.m. at LeTourneau University in Longview. It returns to Kimbrell Arena to play Sul Ross State University Dec. 7 at 5:30 p.m.
