BROWNWOOD, Texas – On Wednesday, Howard Payne University officials announced that Thursday's women's basketball game against McMurry University is now canceled due to unforeseen COVID-19 circumstances.

According to HPU officials, there are plans to attempt a reschedule for this American Southwest Conference game.

The War Hawks (0-5, 0-2) are still scheduled to play at Sul Ross State on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 1 p.m.
