Hope Schoeneman would then add an RBI single, followed by a two-run single by Avery McDaniel and an RBI base knock by Mikayla Krause.

Trinity got right back in the game in the bottom half of the inning, scoring on an RBI single, before scoring four runs on a single and an error to pull within a run.

Schoeneman would drive in another run in the fourth, and then the War Hawks added five more in the top of the sixth. McMurry scored runs by way of a base hit, two errors, a fielder's choice and a sacrifice fly in the frame.

However, the Tigers made a final push in the bottom of the sixth for the final tally.

In game two, the teams combined for 17 runs in the first two innings, and 21 after three before things settled down. After Trinity scored four in the bottom of the first, McMurry answered with seven of their own in the top of the second.

Megyn Castillo drew a walk for the first McMurry run, and the flood gates opened up. Krause drove in a run with a single, followed by RBIs from Ripley, Kasey Woolard, Hernandez and Morris to take a three-run lead.

But the Tigers answered with another big inning of their own, scoring six times to take a 10-7 advantage.

The War Hawks chased the Tigers' starter in the second, but reliever Allie Holbrook allowed just one run in five innings of relief for the win.
