Born August 18, 1999 in Lubbock, Texas … Daughter of Michael Castillo and Cindy DeAnda … Has one younger brother … she was a nationally-ranked gymnast as a youth, before giving it up to concentrate on softball … Her great-grandfather was a circus Strong Man in the 1950s … She has met NFL Hall of Fame member Tony Dorsett … Volunteer work includes Second Helpings, Toys for Tots, Women’s Protective Services, Relay for Life, Austrom’s Angels. As well as working at a youth summer camp and as a coach for 8-under softball … Wants a career as an athletic trainer and coach … An exercise science and human performance major.
