MARSHALL, Texas - McMurry University's football team will look to snap a two-game skid this Saturday (Nov. 4), as the team travels to East Texas Baptist University. Kickoff at Ornelas Stadium is slated for 2 p.m.

The Tigers are currently in a third place tie in the ASC (with Texas Lutheran) standings, sporting a 6-2 record overall and 5-2 in the ASC.  ETBU is on a two-game winning streak and coming off of a 42-28 win over Sul Ross State University. East Texas Baptist University played a balanced game in its victory over Sul Ross State University. ETBU once again piled up the offense with 534 yards of total offense.

McMurry is in the midst of what be the most difficult three-game series of games in the ASC.  McM is coming off of a loss to defending NCAA III national champ - and current #1-ranked - UMHB.  After this weeks game versus ETBU, which has received some attention from voters during the season, will host #5-ranked Hardin-Simmons next week to close the season. McM's Eriel Dorsey had 108 all-purpose yards last week, amassing 90 kickoff return yards and 18 receiving.
