Football Nipped by Lions, 32-29

Box Score OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - McMurry University's football team overcame an early 13-point deficit but, in the end, lost to NAIA foe Langston University, 32-29, at Moses Miller Stadium.  The loss dropped the War Hawks to 2-2 overall, while the Lions improved to 2-2.

LU led 13-0 in the first quarter. However, McM battled back to eventually take a 21-20 advantage in the third quarter, thanks to a touchdown pass from David McHugh to Tyreace House off a fake field goal.

The Lions would score 12 unanswered points to lead by a 32-21 count in the fourth quarter. McMurry clawed back to within three points, but a late interception thwarted the War Hawks' comeback bid.
