Box Score PLAINVIEW, Texas – The McMurry men's soccer team ran into a buzz saw for its 2015 season opener, losing to perennial NAIA power Wayland Baptist University, 6-0, at Hillard Field. The Pioneers improved to 2-0 by topping the War Hawks (0-1).
WBU held a big advantage in total shot attempts, as well. Wayland took 30 shots, with 12 on goal. McM had six shots, overall. The hosts scored three times in each half.
