Box Score HOBBS, N.M. – McMurry University earned its first win of the 2013 season with a decisive 26-24, 25-14 25-17 three-set sweep of the University of the Southwest (N.M.)

Senior Kasi Conners (Abilene, Texas/Cooper HS) tallied a match-high nine kills and 15 assists. Sophomore Taylor Seaton (Big Spring, Texas/Big Spring HS) chipped in seven kills and three blocks, while junior Kayla Hines (Robinson, Texas/Robinson HS) helped out with 13 digs and four kills.

The win moves Coach Cammie Petree closer to win No. 300. She sits at win No. 299 after Wednesday night's victory.

The War Hawks (1-4) return to action this weekend at the New Mexico Highlands Invite.
