COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - McMurry's swim team was swept at Colorado College in a pair of dual meets on Friday evening at the Schlessman Natatorium.
The McM women lost by a 157-37 score and the men fell by a 147-48 count.
Amber Perkins placed second in the 1000 yard freestyle in a time of 11:58.90 minutes.
Teammate
Sara Ploetz also grabbed a second in the 100 backstroke (1:12.20).
On the men's side,
Robert Sussmeier won the 200 individual medley in a 2:07.45 clocking. Sussmeier was also second in the 100 backstroke in a time of 56.99.
Nathan Worley brought home a win in the 100 freestyle, finishing the race in a time of 50.20 seconds. Worley finished third in the 50 freestyle, as well, at 22.47 seconds.
Dalton Walker was second in the 1000 freestyle at 11:10.38 minutes.
The same two teams will faceoff again on Saturday at noon.
