2013 season (Junior):
Heartland Conference All-Academic Team ... Ran in six of seven events ... Career-best 5K time at the Bowles Invitational at Willamette University with a 19:32.72 ... Was sub-20 minutes in two other 5K races (Missouri Southern Stampede- 19:57.30 & Arkansas-Little Rock Invitational- 19:43.61) ... Was McMurry's top finisher three times: McM Libby Invitational (17th); Bowles Invitational (74th), and; Heartland Conference Championships (33rd).

2012 season (Sophomore):
Heartland Conference All-Academic Team … Ran a season-best 5K time of 20:30.38 at the Mississippi College Choctaw Open, good for 19th place overall … Was also 12th at the season-opening Bill Libby Invitational in helping McM to the team title.

2011 season (Freshman):
Finished 12th at the American Southwest Conference Championships … ASC “Co-Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year” award winner… 116th at NCAA III South/Southeast Region meet.

High School:
A graduate of Alpine High School (2011) … Ran cross-country for coach Rick Keith … She helped her team to a district championship while earning all-district, all-region, and all-state honors as a senior … Was named a member of the all-region and all-state teams honorable mention as a junior … Academic All-State as a senior … Also lettered in basketball, track, softball, volleyball and tennis … Was ranked number two in her class upon graduation.

Personal:
Born June 17, 1993 in Alpine, Texas … Daughter of Charles and Sylvia Fields … Has one younger brother … Enjoys reading and the outdoors … Volunteers as a second grade CCD teacher at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church … Has also volunteered for Alpine Food Drive … Very involved on McMurry campus as a member of the campus activities board, Alpha Lamba Delta and serving as a new-student orientation leader … Also a member of the War Hawks’ track team … An information technology major and business minor.
