Competed in two meets ... Second team all-conference ... Set a personal record in the shot put at the American Southwest Conference Championships, placing second with a mark of 14.61m ... Placed third at the 2021 War Hawks Classic with a shot put mark of 13.96m.
2020 Season (Sophomore):
Competed in six meets during the shortened season ... Won his first career meet at the UCO Weilert Open to open the season, throwing a 14.40m in the shot put ... The 14.40m indoor mark ranked sixth in the South/Southeast Region and first in the American Southwest Conference by the season's end ... Also ended the season with a win, taking gold in the shot put at the Hardin-Simmons Cowboys Invitational with a mark of 13.29m ... Was named a 2020 Athlete to Watch by the American Southwest Conference prior to the season's unexpected end.
2019 Season (Freshman):
Competed in 10 meets as a true freshman ... Earned all-conference honors during the American Southwest Conference Championships in Abilene, helping the War Hawks hoist the 2019 ASC Championship by scoring in three events ... Finished second in the shot put (14.12m), fifth in the discus (33.75m) and seventh in the hammer (30.63m, personal best) at the ASC Championships ... Also set two personal bests at the Texas Tech Matador Qualifier with throws of 14.44m in the shot put and 9.63m in the weight throw ... Set a personal best that still stands in his outdoor debut, marking at 38.92m in the discus at the Hardin-Simmons Cowboys Invitational ... Two podium finishes.
