2012 season (Junior):
Finished with sub-28 minute times in four of five races in which he ran (and missed in the other by 3/100ths of a second) … Best finish was a 12th at the Bill Libby Invitational … Best 8K time of the season came at NCCAA championships, where he ran a 27:06.05 and lopped better than 40 seconds off of his previous season best.
2010 and 2011 seasons (Freshman and Sophomore):
Participated in both cross country and track for two seasons at Lon Morris College … Was cross country’s MVP and individual conference champion as a sophomore … Also track MVP and a team captain.
High School:
A 2010 graduate of Tyler High School … Team’s MVP sophomore through senior seasons … Also a regional meet qualifier 2008 through 2010 … Also ran track for THS … Team’s MVP in track as a junior and senior … Also first team All-East Texas as a senior and two-time regional qualifier (junior and senior) on the track.
