Biography

2008 Season (Junior):

Finished second at the American Southwest Conference Championships (26:22). Finished  a personal-best 12th place at the NCAA Regional in Seguin with  time of 26:06. Became the second runner in the school's history to earn a spot in the NCAA Division III meet along with Josh Hufstedler (2000). Placed 153rd and set a school record with his time of 25:54.31. Named academic all-America by the USTFCCA.

2007 Season (Sophomore):

Finished eighth at the American Southwest Conference Championships. Placed 35th at the NCAA Regional meet in Newport News, Va. (27:29) and earned all-region honors. Named academic all-America by the USTFCCA.

2006 Season (Freshman):

Finished fourth at the American Southwest Conference Championships (26:46). Earned all-region with a 30th-place finish. Named academic all-America by the USTFCCA.

McMurry Track Career:

Has run distance for McMurry's track and field program for three records. Holds the McMurry indoor school record in the mile (4:22.51), 3,000m (8:59.43) and the 5,000m (15:42.27). He also holds outdoor records in the 3,000m (8:53.18) and the 5,000m (15:37.54).

High School:

Ran cross country and track for head coach John Church at Southwest High School in Fort Worth where he was an all-district and all-region selection.

Personal:


2006 graduate of Southwest High School in Fort Worth. Majoring in exercise science with a minor in religion. Born 18 March 1988.
