2020 Track and Field (Freshman):
Competed in six meets during the shortened season ... Ran the 1500, 3000, 5000 and mile throughout the season ... Had a Top 10 finish at the Texas Tech Matador Qualifier during the mile run ... Personal bests from four different meets include the mile (4:49.87, Wichita State College Invitational), the 5K (16:43.49, Texas Tech Shootout), the 3K (9:30.11, TTU Matador Qualifier) and the outdoor 1500 (4:44.40, Hardin-Simmons Cowboys Invitational). 

2019 Cross Country (Freshman):
Competed in all seven meets as a true freshman ... Led McMurry at the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Region Cross Country Championships in Memphis, Tenn. with a time of 27:38.7 ... Slightly missed out on all-conference honors at the American Southwest Conference Championships in Abilene, placing 16th with a time of 27:26.8 for a personal 8K record.

High School:
Prepped at Miles High School in Miles, Texas, where he ran cross country and track for four season for coaches Meg Barrett and Derek Schoen ... Was a cross country regional qualifier in all four seasons, while qualifying for state his sophomore and senior seasons ... Cross country district champion as an individual and as a team his senior season, while finishing as the regional runner up his sophomore and senior seasons ... In track, he was a regional qualifier his final three seasons while finishing as the 3200m district champion his senior year, 3200m area champion and regional bronze medalist his junior and senior year and a 1600m regional qualifier in his final two seasons ... Also was a two year member of the tennis team, where he was a district semi-finalist his senior year ... Academically was a Business Professionals of America state qualifier his senior year.

Born on December 5, 2000 near San Angelo, Texas ... Son of Luis and Adele Meza ... Two older siblings, Nathan (deceased) and Alisea ... Majoring in Kinesiology ... Career goal is to be a high school teacher and coach.
