2014 Season (Junior):Ran in all seven races ... Best 8K time of 27:51.50 minutes at NCCAA national meet ... Top-10 finishes at Hardin-Simmons (9th; 4-mile) and ASC meet (10th).
2013 season (Sophomore):Ran in five of seven races ... Top 8K time of 27:35.60 at the Missouri Southern Stampede.
2012 season (Freshman):Went sub-28 minutes in 8K races in four of six events … Best time was a 27:27.32 at the Mississippi College Choctaw Open, where he placed fifth overall and was McM’s second finisher.
High School:A 2012 graduate of Hendrickson High School … Coached by Felipe Castro … Earned team’s “Newcomer of the Year,” “Hawk Award” and “Heart and Dedication Award” during his career … Also a track for the Hawks … Was an alternate to state meet with 4x400 in track … A National Honors Society member.
Personal:Born December 1, 1993 in Weisbaden, Germany … Son of Hector and Polly Flores … Has two younger brothers … A biochemistry major … Plans to go on to med school after graduation.
