McMurry University Athletics

2008 Season (Medical Redshirt):

Missed most of the 2008 season due to an injury and was awarded a medical redshirt.  Had four punts for 103 yards and recorded one tackle on defense.

McMurry Tennis Career (2004-2007):

Earned multiple all-American Southwest Conference West Division honors as a tennis player at McMurry under head coach Mark Hathorn.

High School:

Played three seasons at three different positions for head coach Lee Hurt at Floydada High School in Floydada. Helped his team to a 7-3 record as a senior in 2003. Was a first-team all-district selection as a punter and second-team selection at defensive back. Also lettered in tennis and basketball. Was the district champion individually in tennis all four seasons and qualified for state as a senior.

Personal:

2004 graduate of Floydada High School in Floydada. Played against Austin English (DE, University of Oklahoma) in high school. Majoring in Business Marketing with a minor in Exercise Science. Has aspirations to coach or work in sales. Born 27 Aug. 1985.
