2014 season (Sophomore):
First season of college football ... Became the McM starting quarterback in first collegiate season, starting seven games before a knee injury after a questionable hit versus Tarleton State ended his season ... Completed 121-of-220 passes (.550), with 7 interceptions and 15 passing TDs ... Averaged 257.0 yards of total offense per game ... Top game was vs. West Texas A&M when he threw for 374 yards and 3 TDs (29-of-44).  

High School:
A graduate of Ingleside High School (2012) … Coached by Graig Hesseltine … Four time all-district as a wide receiver (honorable mention as a freshman, second team as a sophomore and junior, and first team as a senior) … District wide receiver of the year as a senior … Also named all-district second team at quarterback as a junior, for the unique distinction of being honored at two offensive positions in same season … Also lettered four years each in basketball and baseball for IHS … Three-time all-district honoree in baseball, as well (second team as a sophomore and first team both junior and senior years) … Voted top senior player … Elected to South Texas All-Star team as a junior and senior, as well.

Born November 8, 1993 in Phoenix, Ariz. … Son of Chuck McHugh and Misti McHugh-Almaraz … Has one brother and one sister … Twin brother (David) is a member of the McMurry football team … Volunteers with Special Olympics … An all levels physical education major, with minor in curriculum and instruction.
