Took a season off from football and returns as a linebacker for his sophomore season.

2008 Season (Freshman):

Split time on McMurry’s junior varsity and varsity teams at linebacker.

High School:

Played one season at linebacker for head coach Ron Holmes at Galveston Ball High School in Galveston. Was an honorable mention academic all-state selection. Also lettered in baseball.

Personal:

2008 graduate of Ball High School in Galveston. Majoring in Computer Information Systems. Cousin, Vernon Crawford, played football for Florida State University and went on to play for the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers. His cousin, Damon Jones, played in the NBA for 11 seasons for 10 different teams; the longest stint came with the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2005-2008. Born 16 Jan. 1990.
