A graduate of Rule High School (2015) … Mark Weaver was his coach … A four-year letterman for his six-man team … Was named all-district as a two-way player  three times (1st team running back and defensive end as a sophomore; 1st team utility and defensive end as a junior; 1st team running back and middle linebacker as a senior) … Also named all-region linebacker as a senior … Also played basketball and competed in track & field for the Bobcats … On the hardwood, was all-district as a senior … As a senior in track, was an area qualifier in the 100, 200, shot put and discus … Area shot put champion … A regional qualifier in both shot put and discus … A member of the future Farmers of America, as well as the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America president …Was class president … A member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
