Prior to joining the McMurry Football staff for the 2025 season Correy Washington had a remarkable tenure at Brazos Christian School, where he led the football program to a 12-1 record in 2024. Under his guidance, the team secured District, Area, and Regional Championships, culminating in a State Runner-Up finish. His offensive unit averaged an impressive 36.7 points per game, while his defense allowed a mere 157 points throughout the entire season.
Before his time at Brazos Christian, Washington spearheaded the transition of Brentwood Christian's football program from 6-man to 11-man, achieving a 9-3 record and an Area Championship in just their second season of 11-man competition. Over six seasons, his teams compiled a 40-23 record, boasting one of TAPPS' top defenses and allowing only 13 points per game in regular season play.
