Brooks Billings joined the War Hawks coaching staff in 2019 following a two-year stint under Jordan Neal at Hendrix as an assistant coach. He has been working with the offensive line at McMurry since the spring of 2019. Billings also oversees the equipment room in addition to his coaching role.

Billings also played collegiately at Hendrix College as a left guard, both participating in and coaching one of the most productive offenses in all of Division III football. The Cypress, Texas native started every game of his career, while also doubling as a pitcher on the Warrior baseball team.

"Brooks Billings was one of the best players I coached at Hendrix College, and he is an elite young coach who will build our offensive line into a dominant unit," Neal said. "Coach Billings has been with me over the past six years as a player and a coach. He has a great grasp of our offense, and he has a passion for producing young men of character."
