McMurry University Athletics

Will need only 258 digs to become McMurry’s all-time digs leader after posting three of the top five single-season digs totals in school history in her first three years at libero. Through three seasons has the top digs-per-set average in school history at 5.02.

2009 Season (Junior):

Recorded 498 digs as a junior, which was the fourth-best single-season digs total in school history. Recorded 18 service aces and 11 kills and had just 23 receiving errors on the season. Recorded 4.53 digs per set. Recorded double-digit kills in 25 of 28 matches and had a season-high 30 Sept. 5 against the University of Dallas. Named to the ASC West Division second team.

2008 Season (Sophomore):

Named the ASC’s West Division Defensive Player of the Year and was a first team all-ASC West Selection. She led the team with 493 digs and averaged 18.3 digs per match. Had 24 service aces and recorded 22 kills as a libero. Named the ASC West Division Player of the Week three times (09/16, 10/21, 10/28). Finished third in the ASC in digs per set (4.77). Had double-digit digs 26 out of 27 matches. Her season-high came Oct. 31 against Texas Lutheran with 30.

2007 Season (Freshman):

Made an early impact as a freshman leading the team in digs with 599, which set a single-season school record surpassing the previous high by Danielle Bolin in 2003 (593). Averaged 20.7 digs per match. Also managed just two ball handling errors the entire seasons. Anding also recorded 16 service aces and 15 kills from the libero position. Had a season-high 44 digs against Southwestern Oct. 19. Had at least 10 digs in 24 of 29 matches.

High School:

Played two seasons at outside hitter for head coach Lori Gray at Pflugerville High School in Pflugerville. She was the team's MVP, was named second-team all-district, academic all-district and was the team's captain her final two years. Helped her team to a third-place finish in district. She also lettered in basketball, track and softball. Played club volleyball in the Austin Metro league.
