2019 Season (Sophomore):
Appeared in nine games, all starts ... Tied for the team lead with 60 tackles ... Also tied a team-best with 29 solo tackles ... 2.0 tackles for loss ... One sack ... Had two interceptions ... Returned a 72-yard interception into the red zone during McMurry's season opener at Trinity ... Also had a 43-yard interception return against Sul Ross State ... Two pass break-ups ... Two QB hurries ... Two fumble recoveries, both of which helped McMurry break a school and conference record for fumble recoveries (eight) against Southwestern ... Season-high 11 tackles against Howard Payne.

2018 Season (Freshman): 
Appeared in all 10 games, starting the final seven as a true freshman ... Ranked fifth on the team in tackles with 40 total (25 solo and 15 assisted) ... 3.5 tackles for loss ... Had his first career interception against Howard Payne on Sept. 15, 2018 ... Recorded a career high nine tackles in that same HPU game ... Had a fumble recovery against Louisiana College.

High School:
A graduate of Abilene Cooper High School (2018) … Coach was Todd Moebus … Also competed in track and field for the Cougars … National Honor Society … Also involved in NTHS and student council.

Born  February 13, 2000 in Abilene … Son of Russell and Tarah David … Father also attended McMurry … Has three brothers … Majoring in physics with a pre-engineering focus.
