A graduate of Wortham High School (2015) … Coached by Johnny Ward … A four-year letterwinner … Four-time all-district (honorable mention as a freshman and sophomore and 1st team as a junior and senior) … Voted district’s top hitter as a junior and MVP as a senior … As a senior was TSWA Class 2A all-state first team … Also competed in the Super CenTex/FCA game as a senior … Also a standout basketball and softball player for WHS … On the hardwood, was a three-time all-district pick (h.m. as a sophomore and junior and 1st team as a senior) … District 19-2A MVP, TABC 2A All-Region III first team and TGCA Class 2A all-state as a senior … On the softball field, was a three-time all-district honoree and twice named academic all-district … Played club for the Waco Junior Volleyball Club.
