A graduate of Martin High School (2012) in Arlington, Texas … Two varsity seasons … First team all-district as a senior … Also played club ball for D-bat Philips - coached by Lance Philips – which won Mickey Mantle World Series in 2009 and was runners-up in 2010, the Dallas Yankees (coached by Tom Bloodworth) in 2011, and Texas Stix (coached by Brett Ray) in 2012.
