Four year starter as a goalie for coach Cody Shrader at Denton Guyer High School in Denton. Led his team to three straight district titles. Named district MVP as a junior and a senior. As a senior recorded 12 shutouts en route to earning Player of the Year honors. Received all-region and all-state honors as a senior. Recorded 15 shutouts as a junior and 18 as a sophomore earning him the districts Keeper of the Year award for two straight seasons.
