High School:

Played two seasons for head coach Trent Fuller at Arlington Lamar at quarterback. Helped the Vikings to a playoff appearance. Named honorable mention all-District 4-5A. Set school record and led district with 2,042 passing yards including 21 touchdown passes on a 60-percent completion percentage and threw just six interceptions in 10 games.

Personal:

2011 graduate of Lamar High School in Arlington. Majoring in pre-nursing with aspirations to either coach or become a nurse. Cousin, Danieal Manning, played his college ball at Abilene Christian University, was drafted in 2006 in the second round by the Chicago Bears and signed a four-year contract to play for the Houston Texans prior to the 2011 season. Born 18 June 1993.
