A mainstay on McM’s o-line … Played all 11 games.

2012 season (Sophomore):
Played in all 11 games … Nine starts, including the final seven in a row.

2011 Season (Freshman):
First season with McM's o-line.

High School:
A graduate of Copperas Cove High School (2011)  … Lettered two seasons for head coach Jack Welch … Played center and tight end … Named first-team all-district as a deep snapper and was a second-team all-district selection at center his senior season … As a junior, he was named honorable mention all-district at tight end … Named to the academic all-district team in each of his two seasons and was given the Superintendent Award his senior year … Member of the National Honor Society and graduated in the top 20 percent of his class (out of 462).

Born September 1, 1993 in Temple, Texas … Son of Marcus and Rhonda Smith ... Has three sisters ... Enjoys playing the drums in free time and also plays at his church ... Majoring in kinesiology ... Looks toward a career as a coach and counselor.
