High School:

Played two seasons for head coach Steve Warren at Abilene High School. Helped the Eagles to a state title at linebacker his junior season and followed with a senior season that saw him earn Defensive Player of the Year for District 3-5A. Named honorable mention all-state and was named the all-Big Country Defensive MVP. Helped the Eagles to a third-round playoff appearance his senior year and a 9-4 record. Had 135 tackles, one sack, one interceptions and two fumble recoveries. Recorded 16 tackles on a nationally-televised game on ESPN against Plant High School (Fla.). Lettered in baseball for three seasons and intends to play baseball at McMurry University.
