Will compete with Landry Gunter for Jake Mullin’s backup spot in his second year with the team.

2010 Season (Redshirt Freshman):

Played in eight games, and started one behind Jake Mullin. Started against Louisiana College Nov. 6, but broke his elbow at the end of the first half and missed the remaining 1.5 games of the season. Completed 30 of 56 passes for 335 yards, threw four touchdown passes and was intercepted three times. Passed for a season-high 130 yards against Louisiana College with a touchdown pass. Punted three times for an average of 39.7 yards per punt with a long punt of 50 yards.

Valdosta State University (2009 Season – Redshirt):

Redshirted for NCAA Division II Valdosta State University.

High School:

Played for his father Steve Warren at Abilene High School and led the Eagles to the playoffs in 2008 after a perfect 10-0 regular season. Recorded the longest touchdown pass in school history at 98 yards. Named all-state and was the District 3-5A Offensive MVP his senior season. Also lettered in baseball where he was an all-district performer.

Personal:

2009 graduate of Abilene High School in Abilene. Majoring in Kinesiology with aspirations to be a football coach. Born 19 June 1990.
