All-National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) … MVP of the C.H.A.M.P.S. A third team All-American by BSN ... NCAA III All-South Region by D3football.com ... American Southwest Conference Offensive “Player of the Year” and first team All-ASC ... ASC Academic All-Conference member ... Won the voting for the national FRS Quarterback “Performance of the Year” contest, with the results of the fan voting (conducted via social media) announced as a part of the 2012 All-Star Football Challenge show on ESPN2 prior to the Super Bowl game ... Mullin out-distance such notable weekly winners from the college football season as Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III (Baylor), No. 1 NFL Draft pick Andrew Luck (Stanford) and 2012 Heisman hopeful Matt Barkley (USC) to win the “Performance of the Year” award (he was the only non-NCAA Division I nominee in the voting) ... Mullin's award-winning performance came October 15 versus Texas Lutheran University, when he threw for 614 yards and four touchdowns in the War Hawks' 60-16 victory over the Bulldogs ... In that game, Mullin completed 43-of-57 passes with no interceptions, on his way to setting both the school and American Southwest Conference records for passing yards in a game (his efforts also helped the McMurry team set an NCAA III record for total offense in a game with 848 total yards) ... Individually, he ranked sixth in nation in total offense (316.55 y.p.g.) and was 45th in passing efficiency (140.23%) … Named a first-team preseason all-American by the Consensus Drafting Services group. 

2010 Season (Sophomore)
Named honorable mention All-ASC after passing for a school-record 2,859 yards and a school record 35 touchdowns ... Also ASC Academic All-Conference member ... Threw only two interceptions in just 7 1/2 games ... Missed the final 2 1/2 games after separating his shoulder against Hardin-Simmons early in the second half in McMurry’s eighth game of the season ... Began the year with three consecutive games with more than 400 yards passing (included a school record 498 passing yards against No. 5-ranked Mary Hardin-Baylor Sept. 18 to accompany five touchdowns) ... For his performance against UMHB he was named to the D3football.com National Team of the Week ... Earned ASC Offensive Player of the Week in first two weeks of the season ... Passed for an ASC and school record seven touchdowns on two different occasions: against Texas College Sept. 11 (where he also rushed for one) and on Oct. 16 against Texas Lutheran ... Ranked 2nd in ASC passing yards per game (357.4), 2nd in touchdown passes (35), first in touchdown passes per game (4.4), second in pass efficiency (167.8), and second in total offense per game (357.2) ... Ranked third in the nation in total offense, second in the nation in passing yards per game, third in total offense, and second in points responsible for ... Surpassed the 300-yard mark five times and the 400-yard mark three times ... Passed for at least four touchdowns in six of the eight games ... Rushed for two more scores ... Completed touchdown passes to 11 different receivers on the season, a school record ... Passed for a long completion of 86 yards to Marcus Franklin for a touchdown, the longest pass and reception in either players’ careers, respectively ... Also punted seven times for an average of 41.1 yards per punt ... Five of his seven punts landed inside the 20-yard line with a long kick of 62 yards on the season.

2009 Season (Freshman)
Had a record-shattering season after taking three seasons off from football ...Came to McMurry to play baseball and tried out for football when Hal Mumme was hired in April of 2009 to become head coach ... Took advantage of Mumme’s Air Raid Offensive system and pieced together one of the top quarterbacking seasons in school history ...Threw for 2,749 yards, 25 touchdowns and just nine interceptions in nine games ... Missed the Louisiana College game in the season’s final game due to illness ...Set single-season school records for passing completions, attempts and passing yards, surpassing ex-McM all-American Braxton Shaver in all three categories ... He completed 256 of 393 passes for a solid 65-percent passing completion percentage ... Set school records for a single game with 479 passing yards and 35 completions in his college debut Sept. 5 against nationally-ranked Trinity ... Passed for 432 yards against Howard Payne Oct. 10 and surpassed the 300-yard mark in five of his nine games. ... Named the ASC Offensive Player of the Week Oct. 4 and Oct. 18 ... Passed for a career-high five touchdowns against Texas Lutheran Oct. 24 and tossed four touchdowns in three other games ... Threw at least three touchdown passes in six of his nine games ... Also had a 38.1-yard punting average including a 70-yard punt against Mary Hardin-Baylor ... Carried the ball for two touchdowns and had a season-high 60 yards on 13 carries in a loss to Hardin-Simmons Nov. 7 ... Was named honorable mention all-conference at running back ... Named the 2009-10 ASC “Athlete of the Year” after earning all-conference honors in both football and baseball, as well as an all-America honor for baseball.

A 2007 graduate of Burleson High School in Burleson ... Played three seasons at quarterback for head coach Mel Maxfield ... Completed 55 of 90 passes as a junior for 920 yards, eight touchdowns and threw six interceptions ... As a senior, he completed 66 of 100 passes for 1,125 yards, 11 touchdowns and three interceptions ... He also picked up 300 yards on the ground as a senior ... Took Burleson down the field with two minutes to go in the district championship game, leading a 98-yard drive to win the game ... Named first-team all-district as a quarterback his senior year ... He was named first team all-county as well ...  Lettered in basketball and baseball, where he was an all-district performer in each ... Played against Jon Chiles (University of Texas), Keaston Moore (RB, University of Florida), Jason Fox (OL, University of Miami), and Emmanuel Moody (RB, University of Florida) in high school ... In high school basketball, he played against Willie Warren (G, University of Oklahoma) ... In high school baseball, he played against Jordan Waldin (P, Los Angeles Angels organization).
