McMurry University Athletics

Will provide depth at the wide receiver’s position for McMurry in 2011.

2010 Season (Freshman):

His only catch of the season went for a 9-yard touchdown against Texas Lutheran Oct. 16. Also played some junior varsity games.

High School:

Played three seasons at wide receiver for Arlington High School in Arlington. His junior season he caught 32 passes for 564 yards and eight touchdowns on his way to second-team all-district honors. His senior year, he followed it up with 25 catches for 630 yards and five scores. Also lettered in track. Played along side Matt & Luke Joeckel who each signed to play NCAA Division I football with Texas A&M. Also played alongside Hardy Diggs who is expected to play NCAA Division I-AA ball with Central Arkansas.

Personal:

2010 graduate of Arlington High School in Arlington. Father, Bill Kent, played football at Utah State University. Majoring in Kinesiology with aspirations to become a physical therapist. Born 18 Jan. 1992.
