2011 Season (Junior)
Seven catches … 71 yards (10.1 y.p.c.) … Long catch of 27 yards versus East Texas Baptist (Sept. 24) … Caught a two-point conversion against ETBU, as well.

2010 Season (Sophomore)
Caught 15 passes for 164 yards and one touchdown … Three passes for 31 yards and a score against Mary Hardin-Baylor (Sept. 18) … Had a season-high 40 yards receiving against East Texas Baptist … Had three receptions in four different games.

2009 Season (Freshman)
Caught five passes for 57 yards at wide receiver in his freshman campaign … Had a season-long reception of 17 yards twice … Caught a season-high two passes against Howard Payne (Oct. 10).

High School
2008 graduate of Burleson High School in Burleson … Played two seasons for head coach Mel Maxfield … Had 26 catches for a school-record 669 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior … Followed with 32 receptions, 570 yards and eight touchdowns his senior year … Named all-district in each of his two seasons and was an academic all-state selection his senior year … Also lettered in basketball, where he was an all-district performer.

Born February 16, 1990 in Arlington, Texas … Son of Jeanie Gilbert and the late Keith Gilbert ... Has two brothers and one sister ... In his free time, enjoys carpentry and cooking, as well as playing “Wheel of Fortune” ... Little known fact is that he was the first-ever customer at the Chick-fil-A in Burleson, Texas back in 2002 ... Majoring in marketing, with minors in math and coaching … Wants to coach high school football … Played alongside John Chiles (WR, University of Texas).
