Biography

Enters the season as the team's slated starter at running back after earning second-team all-conference honors as a true freshman in 2010.

2010 Season (Freshman):


Emerged as a starter midway through the season and had three 100-yard rushing games in the team’s final five contests. Rushed for a season-high 149 yards on 28 carries against Louisiana College Nov. 6. Scored touchdowns against Howard Payne and Texas Lutheran on the ground but added two touchdown catches against TLU for a three-score game Oct. 16. Finished the season with 526 yards on 111 carries and had 23 receptions for 159 yards. Named second-team all-conference at running back.

McMurry Baseball Career:

Named honorable mention all-ASC West as a freshman in 2011 after hitting .292 with 18 runs scored and 10 RBI’s.

High School:

Four-sport standout at 2A Farmersville High School in Farmersville. Played four seasons on the varsity football team serving as a returner, quarterback, running back, strong safety, outside linebacker and punter. Named the district MVP for head coach Ross Dodson as a senior and was a second-team all-region selection at quarterback. Passed fo more than 3,000 yards had 2,800 yards rushing with 54 touchdowns in his career at Farmersville. Name all-district all four seasons and was an all-region selection at quarterback in 2007 as well when he led the team to a 2A state championship. Named to the Herald Banner Dream Team as a kick returner his freshman season in 2006 and earned the same honor at quarterback in 2007. Helped his team win four district titles, and in his state title game against Tatum in 2007, he threw the wining touchdown pass in overtime to knock off Tatum, who had won the previous two state titles. Also lettered in baseball four seasons where he was a two-time all-state selection. Also lettered in basketball and track & field.

2010 graduate of Farmersville High School in Farmersville. Majoring in special education with aspirations to teach and coach. Born 12 Oct. 1991.
