2012 Pre-Season:
National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) pre-season All-American first team by USA College Football.
 
2011 Season (Junior):
Second team All-South Region by D3football.com … Second team All-ASC selection … 44 tackles … 28 solo … High game of eight tackles in season opener at Stephen F. Austin (Sept. 1) … Tied for team lead with five interceptions … Long int­erception return of 81 yards for a TD versus Mary Hardin-Baylor (Sept. 17) … Seven pass break-ups and three blocked kicks … One fumble recovery against Louisiana College (Nov. 5) … Also returned punts … 14 punt returns for an average of 14.9 y.p.r. … Two punt returns for touchdowns of 85 yards vs. Mississippi College (Nov. 12) and 52 yards vs. Trinity University (Nov. 19) in the first round of the NCAA playoffs, in back-to-back games … Averaged 18.5 yards per return on two kickoffs.
 
2010 Season (Sophomore):
Returned a kickoff for a touchdown for just the third time in the school’s history (breaking a 29-year drought) on October 9, when he ran back a 94-yarder against Sul Ross State in Alpine … Played in all 10 games recording 39 tackles on defense … Recovered one fumble against Louisiana College … Broke up eight passes on the year and tallied three interceptions … Tied for 9th in the ASC in passes defended (eight breakups, three interceptions (against Texas College, Sul Ross State and Mississippi College) … Scored two touchdowns on the season (one with the kick return against Sul Ross State and also returned a blocked field goal 53 yards for a score Oct. 2 in a 51-19 win over Howard Payne in Abilene) … Recorded a season-high 10 tackles (9 solo) against Hardin-Simmons Oct. 30 … Returned 15 kicks for an average of 22.5 yards per return and averaged six yards per punt return on eight attempts.
 
2009 Season (Freshman):
Caught five passes for 12 yards … Returned 10 punts for 62 yards and returned 14 kickoffs for an average of 19.1 yards per return … Had a season-long punt return of 41 yards against East Texas Baptist, which set up a touchdown seven plays later.
 
Misc:
Played two seasons of baseball for McMurry (2008-09) and was a part of the 2008 ASC Championship baseball team … Scored two runs, and had one hit and RBI in his career.
 
High School:    
2007 graduate of Post High School in Post, Texas … Three-sport standout at PHS, where he was an all-state performer in baseball, football and basketball … Played both cornerback and wide receiver … Was selected as all-state on defense for head coach Tim James after recording 11 interceptions his senior year. Caught over 800 yards worth of passes his senior season.  Also named academic all-district in all three sports.
