Biography

Should return to start on the defensive line in his fourth and final year with McMurry.

2009 Season (Junior):

Had a solid junior campaign at defensive end combining for more tackles in his third year with the team than the previous two combined. Had 42 tackles (14 solo) and recorded 2.5 tackles for a loss and 1.5 sacks. Credited with four quarterback hurries and recovered one fumble against Sul Ross State on Homecoming Oct. 17. Recorded a career-high 11 tackles including four solo stops against Austin College Sept. 12. Recorded a sack and-a-half against Texas Lutheran in a road win Oct. 24.

2008 Season (Sophomore):

Recorded 10 tackles (two solo) with one for a loss and was credited with half a sack. Also recovered a fumble in his sophomore season at McMurry.

2007 Season (Freshman):

Recorded 12 tackles as a freshman (four solo) and had two tackles for a loss. Credited with three quarterback hurries. Had a career-high five tackles against Sul Ross State Oct. 20.

High School:

Played four seasons at defensive end for head coach Brian Davenport at William Howard Taft High School in San Antonio. Also lettered in track.

Personal:

2007 graduate of Taft High School in San Antonio. Majoring in accounting. Born 05 Sept. 1988.
