Biography

Returns for his final season of college football after averaging 10.1 yards per catch and 52.2 all-purpose yards per game as a junior at receiver.

2009 Season (Junior):


Took three years off from college football and returned to make and impact in McMurry’s Air Raid Offense. Harris caught 39 passes for 393 yards and two touchwons in his first season with McMurry at receiver. He also recovered a fumble for a touchdown on offense against Mississippi College Sept. 19. Caught two passes for 28 yards and two touchdowns against Austin College Sept. 12. Had a season-high 106 yards on six receptions in a Homecoming win over Sul Ross State Oct. 17.

2006 Season (Sophomore – West Texas A&M):

Initially committed to NCAA Division I Oregon after spending a year at Richland College in Dallas. However, transferred to NCAA Division II West Texas A&M and played in 12 games for the Buffs who finished 11-2 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division II playoffs. Harris caught 13 passes for 111 yards. The Buffs were quarterbacked by Dalton Bell who eventually signed an NFL contract with the Green Bay Packers.

2004 Season (Freshman – Brigham Young):

Caught seven passes for 149 yards and carried the ball twice for eight yards for the NCAA Division I Cougars.

High School:

Played one season for head coach Mickey Moss at South Garland High School in Garland. Played wide receiver and was an all-district selection as a senior. Caught 38 passes for 820 yards and 11 touchdowns. Helped his team to a 9-3 record in 2003 and a district 11-5A title. Played in the Dallas-Fort Worth all-star game catching three passes for 97 yards and the game-winning touchdown with 41 seconds to play. Also lettered in basketball where he was an all-conference selection. Named academic all-district as well.

Personal:

2004 graduate of South Garland High School in Garland. Played alongside Raimond Pendleton (WR, University of Kansas) in high school. Majoring in kinesiology with aspirations to coach. Born 19 Jan. 1986
