Franklin returns to complete his collegiate career in 2010 after first-team all-conference honors in 2009 at wide receiver.
2009 Season (Junior):

Broke a 22-year old school record with 907 receiving yards passing the 1987 mark set by Butch Hegeman. Franklin caught 61 passes and averaged 90.7 yards per game and led McMurry with 90.7 yards per game. He averaged 14.9 yards per catch and became just the second wide receiver in school history to catch four touchdown passes in one game against Texas Lutheran Oct. 23. Named first-team all-conference and became the first McMurry player to earn first-team honors on offense since quarterback Ty Sellers was a first-team selection in 2005. Surpassed the 100-yard mark four times and had at least 85 yards in seven of 10 games played. Had a season-high 153 yards on six catches in the season opener against nationally-ranked Trinity Sept. 5. Caught a season-high nine passes for 95 yards and two touchdowns in the Oct. 3 win over East Texas Baptist, which snapped a 17-game school losing skid. Returned two kicks for 29 yards.
2008 Season - Abilene Christian University (Sophomore):
Returned nine kickoffs for 257 yards as a sophomore averaging 24.9 yards per kick return. Returned a kick for 57 yards against East Central University at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene Oct. 4, 2008.
2007 Season - Abilene Christian University (Redshirt-Freshman):
Franklin played in 10 games for the Wildcats, finishing with two catches for 21 yards. He had one catch for 14 yards against Southeastern Oklahoma State (Sept. 15) and one catch for seven yards in the Wildcats’ 56-12 NCAA Division II playoff win over Mesa State (Colo.) on Nov. 17. Franklin was the Wildcats’ second-leading kickoff return specialist, returning nine kicks for 206 yards (22.9 yards per return) with a long return of 33 yards, that coming against Tarleton State on Oct. 27.
2006 Season - University of Wyoming (Redshirt):
Redshirtted at NCAA Division I Wyoming.
High school:
First team all-District 11-5A as a senior after catching 39 passes for 804 yards and seven scores. He also returned four punts for touchdowns. He was the team’s Offensive MVP as both a junior and senior. Franklin also lettered in track and field.

Born 18 Nov 1985. Played alongside NFL stars Johnny Knox (Chicago Bears) and Bernard Scott (Cincinnati Bengals) at Abilene Christian. 2005 graduate of North Garland High School.
