McMurry University Athletics

Will return as a starter on the defensive line for his senior season in 2010 after recording career highs in tackles, tackles for a loss and sacks as a junior. He, along with Will Morris and Gene Hudson return to the defense as all-conference honorees.

2009 Season (Junior):

Had a breakout season as a defensive end in his junior season for defensive coordinator Joe Lee Dunn and line coach Barris Grant.  Ranked third on the team with 68 tackles and led the team in both tackles for a loss (12.0) and sacks (6.0). Was credited with four quarterback pressures, he forced two fumbles and recovered two on his way to honorable mention all-conference honors.  Recorded a season-high 12 tackles (eight solo) against Sul Ross State on Homecoming Oct. 17. Had nine tackles and a season-high three tackles for a loss and a season-high two sacks in a road win against Texas Lutheran Oct. 24.

2008 Season (Sophomore):

Recorded 28 tackles (11 solo) including 4.5 for a loss and had a sack against Texas Lutheran bringing down the quarterback for a nine-yard loss. Had a season-high six tackles against Trinity University Sept. 6. Credited with two quarterback hurries and he recovered two fumbles on the season.

2007 Season (Freshman):

Had 22 tackles (15 solo) and three tackles for a loss. Had two quarterback hurries. Recorded a season-high five tackles against Sul Ross State Oct. 20.

High School:

Played three seasons for head coach Chuck Canitor at New Braunfels High School in New Braunfels. Also lettered in track.

Personal:

2007 graduate of New Braunfels High School in New Braunfels. Majoring in sociology with aspirations to join the Marine Corps. Born 07 Feb. 1984.
