Recorded nine tackles and recovered a fumble in his first season on varsity. Had a season-high five tackles (all solo) against Louisiana College Nov. 24 and recovered a fumble against East Texas Baptist Oct. 3.

2008 Season (Freshman):

Played on McMurry’s JV team.

2007 Season (Redshirt):

Signed to play with Cisco Junior College and redshirted.

High School:

Played two seasons for head coach Steve Haplin at Mesquite High School in Mesquite at wide receiver and outside linebacker. Also lettered in track.

Personal:

2006 graduate of Mesquite High School in Mesquite. Played against Michael Crabtree (WR, San Francisco 49ers, Texas Tech) in a playoff game as a junior. Played alongside Reggie Fish (Arkansas), Kyrs Burek (Baylor), and Marcus Trice (Oklahoma) at Mesquite H.S. Majoring in Kinesiology. Born 27 Oct. 1987.
