McMurry University Athletics

2009 Season: 

Terrorized pitchers all year long during his sophomore year en route to earning second-team ABCA/Rawlings All-West Region as well as first-team All-ASC West Division accolades at right field. Mullin had a breakout year at the plate as he led McMurry in batting average with a .415 clip, which was the sixth-best mark in the ASC.  He also led McMurry in hits (68) and on-base percentage (.464); and finished second on the team in runs scored (40), slugging percentage (.677), home runs (9) and total bases (111).  Furthermore, Mullin finished tied with Lips for the team-lead in doubles (16) and Mullin finished third on the team in RBIs (46). Was also a member of the Baseball ASC All-Academic team.

2008 Season:

Appeared in six games as a freshman and started one.  Went one for nine at the plate, but his one hit was a big one as he hit a homer.  Finished with one run scored and three RBI. 

High School:

Named first-team all-district as an outfielder his senior year in baseball. Played quarterback for his football team where he was named first-team all-district. Was also an all-district performer in basketball and lettered in track.

Personal:

2007 graduate of Burleson High School in Burleson. Sister, Natalie played softball for NCAA Division I UT-Arlington. Born 25 Feb. 1989.
