ABILENE, Texas - The McMurry women's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw with St. Thomas on Sunday at ACU's Elmer Gray Stadium in a tight conference matchup. The tie moves the War Hawks' record to 3-3-2 overall and 1-0-1 in conference play.

The match was a defensive battle, with McMurry's goalkeeper, Avery Anders, leading the charge, recording seven crucial saves throughout the 90 minutes.

The War Hawks generated eight shots during the contest, putting two on target. Cate Tempelmeyer and Madison Black each registered a shot on goal. Additional shots were taken by Laila Brown, Cienna Rodriguez, Audrey Pool, Kaylee Worth, and Katie Wilson.

McMurry will look to build on their unbeaten start to conference play in their next match at home against Austin College on Friday, October 3rd, at 5:00 p.m.
