Shreveport, LA - The McMurry War Hawks delivered a thrilling come-from-behind victory against Centenary, securing a 3-2 win.

The game began as a pitcher's duel, with both teams held scoreless through the first three innings. McMurry's starting pitcher, Mackenzie McClellan, kept Centenary at bay, despite allowing a few baserunners.

Offensively, McMurry struggled to get the bats going early, as Centenary managed to break through in the bottom of the fifth, scoring two unearned runs to take a 2-0 lead.

However, the War Hawks demonstrated their resilience in the top of the sixth inning. Jade Dickens was hit by a pitch to get things started, and Tristyn Barton delivered a crucial RBI single to narrow the gap. Aliyah Tanguma then stepped up with a clutch double to right field, driving in two runs and giving McMurry a 3-2 lead.  

Mackenzie McClellan continued her strong complete game performance on the mound, shutting down Centenary's offense in the final innings to secure the win for McMurry.
