IRVING – Emily Holland scored twice and McMurry claimed a 3-0 non-conference win over the University of Dallas on Sunday.

Holland got the game-winner in the 18
th minute and that 1-0 lead remained until the second half.

Grace Singleton added her first goal of the season in the 48
th minute for the 2-0 lead.

Holland finished things off with her second goal of the day with an assist from
Emery Kirby. Holland leads the War Hawks with four goals this season.

Kaitlyn Gustafson had two saves for the shutout in goal.

McMurry out-shot its host, 13-3, with Holland putting six of her team-high seven shots on goal. Kirby had two shots on goal with Singleton,
Laila Brown and
Cate Tempelmeyer testing the UD keeper once each.

The War Hawks are back in action at 5 p.m. on Thursday when they visit Howard Payne.
