MEMPHIS, TENN. – McMurry grabbed an early lead but Rhodes answered with three first-half goals to take a 3-1 win on Tuesday.
 
Emily Holland put the War Hawks on the scoreboard early. After taking the ball away from a defender, Holland pushed forward and launched a shot from just right of the box and into the upper left goal 30 seconds into the game.
 
Rhodes knotted the game in the 11^th minute with a shot that caromed in off the left post.
 
McMurry had just two other shots for the match with Jaelynn Portillo and Madison Black each putting a shot on goal.
 
Kaitlyn Gustafson and Avery Anders combined for 11 saves on the day.
 
The War Hawks return to action at the University of Dallas at noon on Sunday.
