ABILENE – McMurry dropped a 6-1 decision to Concordia in its first Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Saturday.
 
The Tornados scored in the second minute and led 5-0 before Nick Munoz scored McMurry's goal in the 40^th minute.
 
The War Hawks had five shots, including four shots on goal. Julian Trevino tested the visiting keeper twice and Anthony Licea and Munoz added one shot on goal apiece.
 
Brandon Walker had three saves.
 
McMurry next travels to Trinity for a 5 p.m. game on Friday.
