RICHARDSON – East Texas Baptist scored a pair of goals in each half and defeated McMurry 4-1 on Thursday on a neutral pitch.
 
Julian Trevino gave the War Hawks an early lead, scoring with an assist from Brian Boyles in the 10^th minute. Boyles had three shots to lead McMurry's 13-shot night.
 
The War Hawks put five shots on goal with Anthony Licea testing the ETBU keeper twice, while Trevino, Arik Phillips and Pedro Yanez each had one shot on goal.
 
Jonathan Garcia took the loss in goal.
 
The War Hawks return to action Sunday, playing at UT Dallas at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
