ABILENE – McMurry Volleyball plays at home for the first time this season when Austin College and Centenary visit on Thursday and Saturday, respectively.

The War Hawks enter the week with a 5-4 record after winning their last two matches in the Millsaps Invitational on Saturday. Thursday's match is First Responders/Dyess Night. On Saturday, the War Hawks present Adult Adaptive Rec Night.

Division: The SCAC divides its volleyball members into two divisions: Blue and Gold. McMurry competes in the Blue Division with Austin College, Centenary, Colorado College, Dallas and St. Thomas. The War Hawks are the only team above .500 overall in the division. The Gold Division includes Concordia, Schreiner, Southwestern, Texas Lutheran and Trinity. None of the teams in the Gold Division are below .500.

Trips: Carli Colbert is third in Division III and leads the SCAC in triple-doubles with two. She had her triple-doubles against Wisconsin-Superior and Millsaps.

Page Leader: Hannah Page leads the SCAC with 5.60 digs per set. She's 24
th in that category nationally. Page also leads the conference with 20 aces and 0.67 aces per set.

On the Attack: McMurry has three attackers averaging two or more kills per set.
Jennika Willis leads the team at 2.17, followed by
Jacee Dinkins at 2.07 and Colbert at 2.00.
Addyson Tiffin leads the War Hawks with a .281 attack percentage.

Block That: Rylie Patterson leads the War Hawks with 0.78 blocks per set. She is 11
th in the conference. Â

Assists: Colbert leads the team with 4.36 assists per set and
Ashlyn Quillan is right behind her at 3.92.

About Austin College: This will be the first meeting since Austin College defeated McM 3-0 in 2022. The Roos have only been to Abilene once in the last 15 years in volleyball and McMurry won that match 3-0 in 2018. Austin College is 6-6 on the season after going 3-1 in the Millsaps Tournament. TJ Folse leads the team with 2.54 kills. Laynie Kovacs average 5.02 digs and Rita Araya is a force at the net, averaging 1.13 blocks per set.

About Centenary: McMurry has won all six meetings but the teams haven't met since 2017. The Ladies are 0-7 after losing three games in the Millsaps Invitational. Centenary has taken one set all season, losing 3-1 to LeTourneau. Alyssa Gatlin leads the team with 1.50 kills per set.
